Hurricane Irene

Whether we are ready for it or not, hurricane Irene is coming.  I wish I was writing this blog post to tell you what you can do to protect your floors, but the fact is, that’s not important right now; and not much you could do about them anyway.  What’s most important is for everyone to BE SAFE!  As I write this, there have been mandatory evacuations for all of the coastal communities in the area.  So please, listen to the news reports, and prepare!  I have included a group of links below to various government, disaster, weather, and information pages help keep everyone updated.

And if you’re a data geek, like me, you can check out the NOAA page for all the details: www.noaa.gov

Please, stay safe.  They say travel will be come increasingly difficult starting as early as late Saturday afternoon, so get all you need today and stay home!
