Custom stair & hallway runners are a great way to elevate the look of your staircase and home entrance. There are several options with these types of stair runners. You can purchase carpet and have it cut and bound to use as a stair runner. There are also custom roll runners that are offered in a premeasured width. For this option, the sides are already finished, you just decide your length. If your stairs are a smaller run, premade runners may work for you.
In this photo, we have a customer that selected the Kane Dazzling Glamour broadloom carpet. The installation process for the stairs is extremely custom. Each pie step is cut with precision with a custom pattern match. This carpet runner was cut from a broadloom roll and then had the additional step of having the ends finished with custom serging.

We had our carpet installed a year ago from Lomax Carpet and Tile in Pottstown. Since then the carpet we selected didn’t hold up well.. (started to press down where we walked) within a few short weeks!! We notified Lomax Carpet and Tile, and immediately came and inspected the rug. The outcome was that the rug happened to be a “fluke of some sort” and had nothing to do with the installation!! Therefore, the manager of the Pottstown store suggested for us to come back and choose another carpet at no charge! We were so impressed and thankful that we had that choice!! We had the new carpet installed in March and it is absolutely beautiful!!! The installers once again, did a fantastic job removing the previous carpet and installing the new!! They worked so diligently and respectfully!! We are so pleased on the outcome and so appreciative of the experience we had with Lomax Carpet and Tile!! Beautiful work. Stellar. Those are not easy jobs either. Definitely hire these guys. We don’t have a lot of two stories in South Florida, and mostly people want tile and engineered hardwoods.
